Booking and Payment: How It Works
Booking a transfer should not require an account, a deposit or a phone call at an awkward hour. Here is exactly how it works with us, what you pay and when, and what happens if your plans change.
How booking works
- Tell us the journeyWhere from, where to, the date and the time. For an airport pick-up, the flight number instead of the time. Write to us by email or message us on WhatsApp, Viber or Telegram — whichever you already use.
- We confirm the car and the priceUsually the same day. The price is for the whole car and it is fixed at that moment: it does not change afterwards, whatever the traffic does.
- You get the driver’s details before the tripName, phone number, and the car. If anything moves on your side, you can reach the driver directly.
- You pay at the end, unless you chose otherwiseCash to the driver is the default and the option most people take.
How you pay
Visa or Mastercard onlineBefore the journeyPaid through PayPal over a secure connection.
| Method | When | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cash to the driver | At the end of the journey | Euros or Czech crowns. | |
| No fee, no surcharge. This is what most passengers do. | |||
| A 6% fee applies to online card payments — it is the payment processor’s charge, not ours. |
You do not need a PayPal account to pay by card, and we do not store your card details at any point — the payment happens on PayPal’s own page, not on ours.
What the price includes
The figure we quote is the figure you pay. It covers the car and the driver for your group only, fuel, motorway tolls and the vignettes of every country on the route, and parking at pick-up and drop-off.
There is no meter, no surcharge for luggage, no night rate and no extra for a second or third passenger — the price is per car. Child seats are free; tell us the child’s age and weight when you book so the right one is fitted.
Entry tickets to museums, castles and breweries are never included, and we do not resell them. You book those yourself and we plan the driving around the times you have.
Changes and cancellation
Cancel free of charge up to two hours before the scheduled pick-up. No deposit is taken at booking, so there is nothing to refund and nothing to chase.
Changing the time or the address is simpler still — message the driver or us, and if the new time is free we simply move it.
If your flight is late
We track the flight number you give us. If the aircraft is delayed, the pick-up time moves with it automatically and there is no waiting charge — you do not need to warn anybody, and you should not rebook.
The driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign, after passport control and baggage reclaim. If you cannot find him, his number is in your confirmation.
Questions people ask before booking
Do I pay anything now? No. There is no deposit and no prepayment unless you specifically choose to pay by card in advance.
Can I pay in crowns? Yes. Prices are quoted in euros because most of our passengers arrive with them, but the driver takes Czech crowns as well.
Is the price per person? No — per car. One passenger or four, the figure is the same. That is why a transfer usually beats train tickets for a family or a group.
How many people fit? A sedan takes up to three passengers with luggage; a minibus takes up to eight. Tell us the number of people and the number of suitcases and we will put the right car on it.
Will the driver speak English? Yes. Say so at booking and we assign an English-speaking driver.
What if I need a stop on the way? Tell us when you book. On long routes a short stop usually costs nothing; a longer one is priced before you travel, not after.
