Private Transfers in the Czech Republic — Fixed Prices

A private transfer is the whole journey in one car: your driver, your departure time, your luggage in the boot, and a price agreed before you set off. It suits the trips where trains and coaches stop making sense — Prague to Karlovy Vary from €110, to Dresden from €170, to Vienna or Munich from €350, all per car rather than per person.

For a ride inside Prague or to the airport, see taxi in Prague — this page is about the longer journeys.

Routes and prices

From Prague to Saloon, up to 4 Minivan, up to 8
Kutná Hora €100 €100
Karlovy Vary €110 €140
Český Krumlov €150 €200
Mariánské Lázně €150 €200
Dresden €170 €250
Bratislava €250 €320
Vienna €350 €460
Berlin €350 €420
Munich €350 €440
Frankfurt am Main €350 €400

Every figure is for the car, one way, and fixed when we confirm the booking. Return journeys and routes not listed here are quoted the same way — ask and we send the number.

What a private transfer includes

  • Door to door — from your hotel or apartment in Prague to the address at the other end, with no changes
  • Luggage without limits or surcharges, including skis, golf bags and pushchairs
  • A stop on the way at no extra cost — Dresden sits almost on the road to Berlin, Kutná Hora barely off the road to Brno
  • Child seats and boosters free, on request when you book
  • English-speaking drivers and road tolls and vignettes included in the price
  • No prepayment — you pay at the destination, cash or card

Why not the train or the coach

On the busiest routes public transport is genuinely good: Prague to Dresden or Vienna by train is comfortable and cheap for one traveller. The arithmetic changes with people and luggage.

Four coach tickets to Karlovy Vary come to roughly what the car costs, and then you still need to reach the station at both ends. On the cross-border runs the coach adds a change; the train to Český Krumlov needs one at České Budějovice. A private car removes the interchange, which is where journeys with suitcases actually go wrong.

It also removes the timetable. You leave at seven in the morning or at eleven at night, whichever suits the booking you are travelling for.

A car for the day

For day trips there is a separate arrangement: the driver takes you out, waits while you look around, and brings you back the same evening. It works for castles, spa towns and the ski resorts, and it costs less than two one-way transfers.

Tell us the destination and roughly how long you want to stay, and we quote the day rather than the kilometres.

The cars

Saloons for up to four passengers, Mercedes Viano and similar minivans for up to eight, and a minibus or coach for larger groups. Every price on this page covers the vehicle, so the cost per person falls as the group grows: €350 to Vienna is €350 for one traveller and €87 each for four.

Request a transfer

Send us the route, the date and time, the number of passengers and how much luggage you have. If you are starting from the airport, the flight number is enough — we track it and wait free of charge.

    Frequently asked questions

Is the price per person or per car?

Per car. One passenger or four pay the same, which is what makes a private transfer competitive for groups and families.

How far in advance should I book?

A day is usually enough, but for early-morning departures, holidays and the ski season, book as soon as your dates are fixed.

Can we stop along the way?

Yes. A short stop costs nothing; a longer visit is quoted as part of the booking.

    Do you cross borders?

Regularly — Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Poland. Tolls and vignettes are included in the quoted price.

What if my flight is late?

We track it and wait 60 minutes after landing at no charge.

    How do I pay?

At the destination, in cash or by card. No prepayment is required.
