The interesting shopping around Prague is not on Pařížská street but in the outlet centres outside the city and over the German and Austrian borders, where the same labels sell for 30–70% less. A private transfer takes you to the door, waits, and collects you with the bags: from €30 within Prague and from €295 to the outlet villages abroad — priced per car.

- Fashion Arena Prague Outlet — Prague 10, about 15 km from the centre. The largest outlet in the country, around two hundred shops. From €30 per car one way
- Premium Outlet Prague Airport — Tuchoměřice, by the airport. Easy to fit around a flight. From €30 per car
- Prague shopping centres — Palladium, Chodov, Nový Smíchov, Arkády Pankrác. From €30 per car
- Ingolstadt Village — about 390 km, beyond Nuremberg on the road to Munich. Around 110 boutiques, a Chic Outlet Shopping village. From €310 per car
- Designer Outlet Parndorf — about 370 km, 40 km beyond Vienna. Austria’s largest outlet, around two hundred shops. From €295 per car
- Designer Outlet Berlin — Wustermark, about 380 km, 30 km west of Berlin, around a hundred shops. From €305 per car
- Dresden — about 150 km. Not an outlet but a city of shopping galleries: the Altmarkt-Galerie and Centrum Galerie in the centre, Elbepark on the edge. From €170 per car, the same as an ordinary Prague to Dresden transfer
The price is per car, not per person, and is fixed when we confirm the booking. A trip with waiting and a same-day return is quoted separately — for shopping, almost everyone takes it.
Why a car makes sense here
Shopping is the case where a transfer pays for itself most obviously.
- You come back loaded. Four people with shopping bags on a coach is a sport of its own
- Outlet villages sit in fields. Ingolstadt Village, Parndorf and Wustermark were deliberately built beside motorways away from towns; reaching them by public transport means changes
- Your schedule, not theirs. Coach shopping tours leave on a timetable rather than when you are done in the fitting room
- Tax free. VAT refunds are processed on the way out, and with a car you have time to do the paperwork properly
Worth knowing
Outlets abroad trade Monday to Saturday: in Germany and Austria shops close on Sundays, and that is the rule rather than the exception. Plan for a weekday or a Saturday.
The big sales are in January and July. In those weeks parking at Parndorf and Ingolstadt can be difficult, and we suggest an early start.
Czech outlets open all seven days, Sundays included — so if your one free day falls on a Sunday, that is the only option that works.

Will the shopping fit in the car?
An ordinary car takes two or three people with bags comfortably. If there are four of you and you intend to shop seriously, ask for a minivan — the difference in price is small.
