Taxi from Prague to Frankfurt am Main

A taxi from Prague to Frankfurt am Main covers 530 kilometres in about six hours. The price is fixed, from €350 per car — exactly what our booking form shows. The run to the terminal at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) costs the same.

Frankfurt am Main

What it costs

  • Economy, Comfort and Premium — €350 per car, up to 3 passengers
  • Minivan — €400, up to 8 passengers
  • To Frankfurt Airport (FRA) — from €350, delivered to the terminal
  • The price is per car, not per person, and is fixed when we confirm

Why only a fixed price

Six hours on a taximeter is a number nobody will quote in advance, and on an international run it turns into haggling by eye. We fix the sum in the confirmation and include the Czech vignette and German road charges.

For a connection through FRA that matters: you pay a known figure and arrive at the terminal at a calculated time, rather than settling the price with a driver before your flight.

The drive

The route runs on the D5 through Plzeň to Rozvadov, then the German A6 and A3 through Nuremberg and Würzburg. This is the longest of our regular German runs: six hours with two stops is the real figure.

There is no passport control, but bring your document. In winter the Bavarian stretches can be snowy and the driver allows for it.

Who books this

Frankfurt is mostly a business and transit destination.

Connections through FRA. Frankfurt is one of the main hubs in Europe, flying to places Prague has no direct service to. Six hours by road with a guaranteed arrival time is more reliable than a connecting flight that can be delayed.

Trade fairs. Messe Frankfurt is one of the largest exhibition sites in the world. During the big fairs taxis in the city are all taken, while a car with a driver runs from your hotel door to the right hall entrance.

If you are here as a tourist: the Römerberg with its half-timbered houses, the museum embankment with the Städel, the Palmengarten, the apple wine taverns of Sachsenhausen — and the skyscrapers, the only real business district in Germany.

What the price covers

  • Pick-up at your hotel, apartment or Prague Airport at the time you choose
  • Door-to-door delivery — into the city, to the FRA terminal or to a Messe hall
  • An English-speaking driver
  • The Czech vignette and German road charges
  • Child seats and boosters — free
  • Luggage at no extra cost; for a lot of it, ask for a minivan
  • Two stops on the way

Book a taxi

Send us the date, the pick-up time and address, the number of passengers and suitcases, and your address in Frankfurt. If you have a connection, send the flight number and departure time and the driver will build in margin. For a trade fair, name the hall.
