Taxi in Prague — Fixed Prices from €30

A taxi in Prague costs what the meter says — unless you book it in advance, in which case it costs what you agreed. We quote a fixed price per car before you travel: from the airport to the centre it is €30, and it stays €30 in traffic, at night and if your flight lands two hours late.

What it costs

  • Prague Airport ↔ city centre — €30 for a car up to 4 people, €40 for a van up to 8
  • Around Prague — quoted by address before you book
  • Karlovy Vary €110 · Dresden €170 · Český Krumlov €150 · Vienna and Munich €350
  • Every price is per car, not per person
  • No prepayment — you pay at the end, cash or card

Why book instead of hailing one

Prague taxis have a mixed reputation, and it is not entirely undeserved. A metered fare from the airport to the centre usually lands between 600 and 800 CZK, but you only learn the number at the end, and traffic decides it. Ride-hailing apps work here too, with surge pricing when you least want it — after a delayed flight, at 6 a.m., in the rain.

A pre-booked transfer removes the variable. You know the figure before you fly, and the car is already assigned to you when you land.

What is included

  • Pick-up at the address and time you choose
  • At the airport: meet and greet in arrivals with a name board and 60 minutes of free waiting — we track the flight
  • Child seats and boosters free, on request when you book
  • Luggage without surcharges, including skis and sports equipment
  • Door to door — to the hotel entrance, not to the nearest corner
  • Drivers who speak English

Airport runs and longer trips

To or from Václav Havel Airport — 17 km and 25 to 40 minutes, with the driver waiting in arrivals under a name board while we track the flight. That journey has a page of its own: Prague airport transfer and taxi, which also covers the trip back out and which terminal you need.

Out of the city — the spa towns, the castles and the runs across the border into Germany and Austria are quoted per car for the whole journey, waiting time included. Those live on taxi across the Czech Republic, and all routes and prices from Prague are listed separately.

Book a taxi

Send us the date and time, the pick-up address, where you are going and how many passengers. Flying in? The flight number is enough — we track it and wait free of charge.
