Transfer from Prague to Nové Město na Moravě
Nové Město na Moravě is the centre of Czech cross-country skiing and biathlon. It is about 150 km from Prague, roughly two hours. A transfer costs €120 for the whole car, delivered to your hotel or straight to the entrance of the Vysočina Arena. Skis travel free.

Biathlon World Cup: 21–24 January 2027
The Vysočina Arena hosts the seventh round of the 2026/2027 Biathlon World Cup, from 21 to 24 January 2027.
Race days bring tens of thousands of spectators. The shuttle buses run, but seats sell out early and the services arrive full — and you need to be there before the start, while afterwards everybody leaves at once.
A transfer takes the lottery out of it: the car collects you from your hotel in Prague at the time you choose and drives to the arena. You come back when you are ready, not when a seat frees up.
If you are attending several days of racing, the full-day rate makes more sense: the car waits at the arena and brings you back to Prague in the evening.

The drive from Prague
The route runs on the D1 towards Brno, then turns off into the Vysočina highlands. About two hours on an ordinary day; on race days the last few kilometres can be slow, so we leave with a margin.
About Nové Město and the Vysočina
The Vysočina Arena is one of the principal biathlon stadiums in Europe, built around the Vysočina trail network. Besides World Cup rounds it hosts Czech championships and mass-participation ski marathons.
The town itself is small, but the country around it holds hundreds of kilometres of groomed cross-country tracks — classic and skate in winter, mountain biking on the same trails in summer.
There is no downhill skiing here. For pistes you want Špindlerův Mlýn, Pec pod Sněžkou or Harrachov.
