- We track the flight. If it lands late, the driver waits at no extra cost.
- The driver meets you in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or 2 with a name board and helps with the luggage.
- Pay the driver in euros or Czech crowns at the end, or by card online in advance.
Why a car from the airport
By public transport the airport and Poděbrady are on opposite sides of Prague. You would take a bus to the main station and then a train east: at least one change, with luggage for a course of treatment. By car it is one ride, around the city on the ring road and then the D11 expressway east.
Poděbrady is a cardiac spa on the Elbe. Its mineral spring was found in 1905, when Prince Bedřich Schwarzenberg, an enthusiastic dowser, pointed at a spot in the castle courtyard and the drilling proved him right. The spa houses treat heart and circulation problems and offer rehabilitation after heart attacks and surgery. The castle is the birthplace of George of Poděbrady, the only Czech king not of royal blood.
