Route from Prague Airport to Berlin

The price is per car, not per person: a car for up to four 350 €, a minibus for up to eight 400 €. Germany charges no motorway toll for cars, so the Czech vignette is the only road charge, and it is included.
Why go straight from the airport
Václav Havel Airport is on the north-western edge of Prague, which is already the Berlin side of the city. A car from the airport takes the ring road to the D8 and heads north without crossing the centre.
The train is a real alternative between the two capitals: direct trains run from Prague main station to Berlin in about four and a half hours. From the airport, though, you first have to get to the main station, and you arrive at Berlin Hauptbahnhof rather than your hotel. Coaches are cheaper and slower, and leave from the city centre.

Where the driver meets you
Flights from outside Schengen, such as the UK, the US, Israel and the Gulf, land at Terminal 1; flights from Schengen countries at Terminal 2. Send us your flight number and the driver will be in the right arrivals hall, holding a board with your name, when you come out.
We follow the flight, so a delay moves the pick-up with it and costs you nothing. If passport control or baggage takes a long time, the driver waits.
The drive
From the airport the car takes the D8 north through the České středohoří hills to the border, where the motorway continues as the German A17 to Dresden, and then the A13 north to Berlin. There is no regular border control, though Germany runs spot checks near the border, so keep your passport handy.
A stop on the way is easy to add: Dresden lies almost exactly halfway, and an hour in its old town makes a good break. Tell us when you book.
Arriving in Berlin
