Transfer from Cesky Krumlov to Prague
Getting out of Cesky Krumlov is harder than getting in. There is no direct train to Prague, the bus goes from the edge of town on a fixed timetable, and the old town is closed to traffic — which is awkward at seven in the morning with a suitcase and a flight to catch. We collect you at your hotel and drive you to Prague, or straight to the airport, in about two and a half hours.

The price is per car, not per person. Sedan from 129 €, comfort class from 150 €, minibus for up to eight from 150 €. No night surcharge — early departures cost the same.
Where we pick you up
The centre of Cesky Krumlov is pedestrian, and several hotels sit on lanes a car cannot enter. That is not a problem: the driver parks at the nearest permitted point — usually a couple of minutes’ walk — comes to the hotel door, and takes the luggage. Tell us the hotel name when you book and we will work out the rest.
We also collect from apartments, the bus station, and hotels in the surrounding villages.
The drive north
The road follows the Vltava downstream out of the Sumava foothills, past Ceske Budejovice, and then joins the D3 motorway north across South Bohemia to Prague. Two and a half hours, one country, no border.
If you are not in a hurry, Hluboka Castle is a fifteen-minute detour and one of the most photographed buildings in the country. Say so when you book and we will build it into the trip.
Where we drop you in Prague
At your hotel, apartment or private address in any district — including the Old Town, where vehicle access is restricted and most drivers will not go.
Or directly at the right terminal of Vaclav Havel Airport Prague if you are flying out. The fare is the same as to the city, so there is no reason to break the journey.
Catching a flight? Allow the two and a half hours of driving plus two hours at the airport for a Schengen departure, three for a long-haul one. So a ten o’clock flight means leaving Krumlov around half past five. We drive at that hour every week and there is no night surcharge.
Give us your flight number when you book and the driver will know if anything changes.
What is included
